Jacob Rodriguez plays baritone saxophone in the Bublé band. Jacob joined the band in July, 2007, taking over from Josh Sinton and Frank Basile.

Born in Seattle in 1981, Jacob began playing saxophone at the age of 11. He grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he also learned to play the bass clarinet but specialised in the bari sax at Macarthur High School.
Jacob played with the San Antoinio ska band, Spies Like Us from 1996-1999. When he was 20, he moved to New York City to attend the Manhattan School of Music. Jacob graduated with a Master of Arts in 2007, having already gained a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies studying under the tutorlage of Dick Oatts and Joe Temperley.
He has featured on various recordings with different groups showcasing his love of a diverse range of music, including funk, jazz and latin. Jacob has also played with the Soulful Symphony in Baltimore and the New Life Jazz Orchestra in Boston.
