Michael Bublé
is an extraordinary talent whose sensational voice lends such depths to songs ranging from the classic swing standards through to jazz and to contemporary pop. Not only is Michael an incredible singer who has crossed the genres and bridged the generations so effortlessly, breathing a new lease of life into the standards and reinventing classic pop songs and making them his own, he is also an all-round entertainer who has the knack of making his audience fall in love with him at every performance, be it through his physical interaction with the crowd, through his dialogue on stage, or through his incredible interpretations of the songs he performs.

A Michael Bublé concert experience is like no other ~ incredibly addictive and ever so seductive, an evening with Michael as he woos you with his charm and vocal talents leaves you wanting for more and, not surprisingly, you are bound to succumb to the lure of a Bublé concert time and time again; not only to see and hear MICHAEL perform but also to lap up the talented musicianship of the wonderful band who accompany him. Together, Michael and the band are guaranteed to take you on an emotional rollercoaster of a ride throughout the course of an evening, making you laugh, and cry, but ultimately feeling euphoric and exhilarated - rest assured, you'll leave the concert venue yearning to hear more and no doubt planning the next time you'll be coming back to get your next fix of Michael and the Bublé band!

Michael's love of the standards began when he was a young boy listening to the jazz recordings his grandfather loved so much. Born September 9, 1975 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, Michael was encouraged by his beloved Grandpa Mitch to learn to sing the standards. He was encouraged to enter a talent competition which he in fact won but was disqualified from for being underage. Grandpa Mitch was so certain his grandson had something special to show the world that he offered to do free plumbing work for musicians in exchange that they would let Michael perform with them on stage.

Having taken these opportunities and the experience of performing live, Michael went onto win first prize in a Canadian Youth Talent Search. He later toured in a Red Rock Diner production playing the part of Elvis, and also starred in a musical revue called "Swing". It was during this period that Michael recorded three independent albums: First Dance (1996); Babalu (2001) and Dream (2002).

Michael got his big break when the former Canadian Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney, invited him to perform at his daughter's wedding in 2000 and introduced Michael to the multi-Grammy winning producer, performer, and Warner Brothers Records Executive, David Foster. Foster signed Michael to the 143 / Reprise Records label and together with Humberto Gatica, worked to hone Michael's potential and experimented with his stylistic range.

The result was Michael's impressive self-titled debut album on the Reprise Records label, released in 2003. It contains such classic tracks as "Fever", "Moondance", "For Once In My Life", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Sway", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Come Fly With Me" and the modern classic written by George Michael, "Kissing A Fool". Michael Bublé's take on the chosen tracks are that "They have a heart and a soul and the challenge of any singer is to connect with those qualities and make them real for the audience. Of course, these particular standards have been favorites of mine for as long as I can remember. But the newer material has that special something as well. It's a timeless quality."

"Michael hasn't just learned this music," remarks Foster, "He's lived it. He brings youthful energy to it, tough and tender at the same time and like nothing else I've ever heard. The great thing is, he's tapped into a repertoire that can last him fifty years. He's at the beginning of a very long career."

Michael's debut album was a worldwide success, charting highly on the Canadian, UK, US and Australian Album Charts to name but a few. It soon went platinum reaching the Top 10 of the Album Charts in the UK and Canada and soared to No. 1 in Australia. Michael followed his chart success by winning the "Best New Talent" Award at the 2004 Juno Awards.

Over the last few years, Michael has enjoyed playing to sellout crowds worldwide and is fast becoming a global phenomenon. 2006 marked Michael's debut series of concerts in Las Vegas at the LV Hilton where he played to a packed audience at each of the four concerts held over Valentine's weekend.

Michael has also recently won, together with his Musical Director and Pianist, Alan Chang, and also with Amy Foster-Gillies, the “Songwriter of the Year Award” from the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) for the hit song, "Home", which reatures prominently on Michael's latest album, "It's Time".

He has gone on to be nominated for The Juno Fan Choice Award 2006 and has won the following 2006 Juno Awards: Artist of the Year, Single of the Year for "Home", and both Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for "It's Time".
